The Rex Trevett Big Band (based in Bridport, Dorset, UK) is a group of amateur players who love playing swing music. It started life as a school band and under the direction of the late Rex Trevett became a community-based band. Most of the band's gigs are for local charities, although a certain amount of band fundraising is carried out by playing outside a few times every summer in the middle of Bridport (Bucky-Doo Square). We are always happy to welcome new players - see information on rehearsal dates. Please use the contact page to enquire about playing with and /or booking the band.
